Warranty / Terms & Conditions

Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before using our repair services.

At MKC Camberwell, all completed repairs include a limited warranty of up to 6 months from the repair completion date, covering defects related to the replaced part or workmanship only.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers:

  • Faults relating to the replaced component
  • Defects caused by repair workmanship
  • Parts supplied and installed by MKC Camberwell

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage, accidental drops, cracks, pressure damage, or liquid damage
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
  • Software-related issues, viruses, account problems, or data recovery
  • Pre-existing motherboard or internal hardware faults not related to the original repair
  • Devices previously repaired or opened by another repair provider after our service
  • Customer-supplied parts not purchased through MKC Camberwell
  • Normal wear and tear over time

Important Repair Information

  • Some devices may display notifications such as “Unknown Part” or similar messages after repair. This is common on certain devices after replacement parts are installed and does not affect functionality.
  • Customers are strongly advised to back up all personal data before repair. MKC Camberwell is not responsible for any data loss during the repair process.
  • Opening a device may reduce or remove its original water-resistant seal. We cannot guarantee waterproof or water-resistant performance after repair.

Assessment Fee

A diagnostic/assessment fee may apply to devices requiring detailed inspection. This fee will be discussed before proceeding and may be deducted from the final repair cost if the repair is approved.

Refund Policy

Approved refunds will only be processed once any installed parts supplied by MKC Camberwell are returned. Refunds are subject to inspection and approval.

Uncollected Devices

Devices left uncollected for more than 90 days after repair completion or customer notification may be disposed of or recycled in accordance with applicable regulations.
